Letters to Editors

easely my least favorite thing we've done all year. What i did the past three days is the defenition of Bull Shitting something.

Letter to the editor Rd. 3

This is regarding the article on Pitt losing to DePaul, I can’t believe Pitt has lost that game. I guess losing games they should win carried over from the football season. Pitt athletics are really blowing it this season, but yet I find myself still watching. I just need to stop watching Pitt but being such a Pittsburgh nut I can’t. If Pitt loses to SMU in there bowl game I wouldn’t be suspired in the slightest.

Letter to the editor Rd. 2

This is regarding the article on how zero pens, go voted to the NHL all-star game. I know why Sidney didn’t get voted in, but there is no excuse for Jordan Staal not getting vote in along with Malkin, Fleury, and Letang. That would be like only one Steelers getting voted into the pro bowl.  The NHL All-star weekend used to be fun to watch but you will not catch me tuning in this year.  I would love to see the rosters I guarantee I could find  someone worse the Malkin and Staal.

Letter to the editor Rd. 1

Regarding the Steelers signing Chad Spann of the practice squad, I think they should sign Dorin Dickerson the TE out of Pittsburgh. I know he doesn’t play running back anymore, but they could use him as a major offensive weapon. In the NFL Draft combine he finished in the top three of all categories for TE. I think the Steelers could line him up in the slot or in the shotgun formation and let him lead block or just give him the ball and let him run. He could be effective running the wild cat for the Steelers, or just being a playmaker at WR or TE.  Chad Span got nothing on Dorin.

Snow

It finally snowed, but i didnt get a chance to enjoy it cuz we still had school. Everyone wants to get on the superintendent, but lets cut his some slack he cant really see all that snow over that moustache. I think i was like the only one who didnt almost crash getting to school.
I hate when people are like screaming about us not haveing a two hour delay, im swoll we didnt have one and openly express my displeasure in it, but there is no need to shout. for example some dumb ***** was screaming about it if i wasnt so tired i would of said shut the hell up no one cares

WPIAL

Standing there frozen on the sidelines, a frigid windy night, with wind ice cold up to 20mph. I taste my cold, dry lips and my old mouth piece as I stand on the sidelines anxiously waiting for the next play. It was forth down Hopewell had the ball. There was under a minute left and they didn’t have any time outs. The ball was on roughly our 20 yard line. Hopewell’s quarterback Matt Hundenski says hut and the ball is snapped. This is the play that will decide the game. Mike Ross Hopewell’s best receiver appears to be open running down the middle of the field. Hundenski throws the ball. Ross thinks he’s about to catch the game winning touchdown, and then right before the ball gets to his hand Ben Simmen comes out of nowhere and swats the ball. The crowd and our sidelines erupt. All the hard work we put it finally just paid off. We just beat a team that was better than us for the wpial championship. The crowd was rocking and so were the sidelines. It was like a huge party after he swatted that ball of pure celebration.  I still can’t believe we won WPIALs to this day. We said our senior year we were going to go back to Heinz, but lost to a team we should of beat in the first round of the playoffs. The team who beat us ended up going to Heinz field and losing to Montour.  Every time I watch or think of Ben knocking that ball down I get goose bumps. That was my favorite team I’ve ever been a part of even though I didn’t play on varsity, unlike the next two years. I will never forget that day November 27, 2009.
